Psychotherapy in English

Your emotional healing journey starts here…
Whether you are going through a rough patch or just need some guidance, therapy is an excellent tool to help you navigate all aspects of your life.
I offer a safe and confidential space where you can express your thoughts and emotions without judgement.
During sessions, together we will explore your feelings, gain insights into your behaviours, and develop coping strategies that can lead to personal growth.
We will also focus on building resilience, enhancing your relationships, and improving your overall mental well-being, empowering you to tackle challenges more effectively and create a more fulfilling life.

Anxiety and depression
Anxiety and depression can feel overwhelming and isolating, but you are not alone.
At your pace, we will make sense of what you are going through and work on coping strategies that help restore balance and reconnect you with a sense of calm and purpose.

Self-esteem
Low self-esteem can show up as self-doubt, harsh inner criticism, or difficulty setting boundaries.
Together, we will explore where these patterns come from and work towards a more compassionate, confident relationship with yourself so you can feel more worthy and empowered.

Trauma
Trauma can leave lasting emotional effects that shape how you think, feel, and relate to the world.
Therapy offers a safe space to process your experiences at your own pace, rebuilding safety, self-trust, and a life that feels more like living than just surviving.

Grief
Grief may follow the loss of a loved one, relationship, pet, or job, and can feel too heavy to carry alone.
In therapy, you can share memories, express difficult emotions, and find a way to live fully again, keeping love and memories alive while making space for both sorrow and joy.

Personal Growth
You do not need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy.
It can be a powerful space for reflection, self-discovery, and growth, helping you better understand yourself, improve relationships, and move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and purpose.

Emotional support for expats
Moving abroad brings with it amazing experiences and unique challenges. From learning a new language to leaving family and friends behind, expat life can be overwhelming at times.
As an expat myself, my approach helps you through this transition.
Emma Segura Pereira
Psychotherapist

As a member of the British Psychological Society (No. 552341) with an MSc in Psychological Sciences from Brunel University London and specialist diplomas in counselling, trauma-informed therapy, and CBT, I bring clinical expertise and genuine empathy to my practice.
I’m a humanistic and integrative therapist, offering a warm, non-judgemental space and drawing on evidence-based methods to support people facing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, and a wish for personal growth.
Having lived in several countries and worked with diverse clients, I understand the emotional and practical challenges of life abroad and meet each person with sensitivity, openness, and respect for their unique story.
My deep curiosity about human nature and how people overcome adversity has shaped my belief in the power of a supportive therapeutic relationship to foster healing, growth, and resilience.
If you’re considering therapy, you don’t have to do it alone; I would be honoured to support you on your journey.
